In the crowded realm of photography, it's not uncommon to notice a certain sameness in the styles of many photographers. The question arises: why do so many photographers' styles look alike, and what sets mine apart? Let's dive into the reasons behind this and explore why my style stands out as distinctly as my own.

True Documentary Approach: At the core of my photography philosophy lies a commitment to authenticity. I embrace the documentary style, capturing genuine moments as they unfold naturally. Instead of orchestrating poses or scenes, I strive to document the raw emotions, candid interactions, and fleeting nuances that make each wedding or family session truly unique. This dedication to genuine storytelling sets me apart from those who may prioritize staged perfection over authentic moments. I don't stage anything. My moments are also prompt based, where I give you an activity such as "hug mama, reach for your new wife". Thus creating moments of photography images within the prompt.

True-to-Color Editing: One of the most common trends in photography today is the use of presets—a set of pre-defined editing settings that can quickly alter the look and feel of an image. These are called presets. Many photographers then sell said present which makes everyone the same in the market. Many photographers rely on these presets, leading to a proliferation of similar styles and aesthetics. However, I take a different approach. Rather than conforming to preset trends, I meticulously craft each image, ensuring that colors are true to life and reflective of the actual atmosphere of the moment. My editing style is characterized by vivid colors and rich tones, drawing viewers into the scene and evoking a sense of immediacy and vibrancy. I LOVE COLOR and feel as though life is so stunningly beatiful so why not show it in its truest form?

Years of Perfection: While some photographers may rely on presets or follow the latest trends, I have spent years perfecting my craft and developing a style that is uniquely my own. Through countless hours of practice, experimentation, and refinement, I have honed my skills and cultivated a visual language that is unmistakably mine. When I first started, there was many styles such as "dark & moody" (which is like it sounds, dark vibes, lots of emotions are captured in the shadows within the image.) Also light & airy (which is what it sounds like as well, light editing, no harsh colors, overexposed,) Honeycomb ( lots of oranges and yellows) I never fit into these categories. I was also going back and forth with trying to fit in. Eventually I stopped giving into the trends and just kept doing what I liked. I learned what each and ever slider does and how it works in relation of the photo's colors. Editing is my favorite thing to do. Sometimes It feels like I'm painting. As a former art/drama/music student, i did did all the painting. Combining my love of art and painting.

Client Testimonials: The ultimate validation of my distinct style comes from my clients themselves. Time and time again, I am humbled by their effusive praise. Clients often remark, "Your photography style is unreal! I'm obsessed with the colors and your editing style!" or "I have searched high and low for someone like you; you have your own unique style, and I haven't seen a lot of you." These testimonials reaffirm that my dedication to authenticity and individuality resonates deeply with those who entrust me to capture their most precious moments.

In a world where conformity often reigns high, I stand firm in my commitment to forging my own path as a photographer. By embracing a true documentary approach, maintaining true-to-color editing, dedicating years to perfecting my craft, and receiving heartfelt praise from clients, I continue to carve out a niche for myself in the competitive world of wedding and family photography. There may be many photographers out there, but there is only one with a style that is truly my own.
